25 Jan Edmonton Winter Wedding | Polish Hall
They met in high school, and knew each other through mutual friends. Years later, he messaged her on Facebook and set up a “pre-date.” (Obviously, she would pass his “interview” with flying colours and even took a liking to him). The best part was that Evan had moved right next door to Cara around that time, unbeknownst to the both of them!! It was serendipitous and life is beautiful. From there they hit it off and took advantage of their extremely short commute time to see each other. The rest was history…
Evan and Cara are two of the kindest people you can meet. Between her all around sweetness and adorable penchant for apologizing and his obvious loyalty and care for the people – the make a pretty amazing team. We had so much fun just being around Evan and Cara and their friends (this is the third wedding we have shot in this group of groomsmen!!) – laughter and joy and love radiated from all directions. This cool, calm and down-to-earth day started at Inglewood Christian Reformed Church where they said their I dos. We then ventured downtown Edmonton. Evan and Cara may even be THE first couple to have wedding photos taken at Edmonton’s Funicular Project by the Fairmont MacDonald – there are so many neat textures there! The crew stopped by Craft to have a beer and then ended the night at the Polish Hall where all sorts of shenanigans went down. The night could not have been over without a dino crashing an epic ceremonial dance to Bohemian Rhapsody. It was one of the best things I have ever witnessed and could have died laughing.
We are so happy for you two! Congrats! Enjoy this photo story of this amazing day!!
